Tatlow Park

Supported by a small, but generous grant in response to the City of Vancouver’s “Greenest City” mandate, “LocoMotoArt in Tatlow Park” took place on the evening of August 18, 2012. Tatlow Park is a small urban park, surrounded by a neighbourhood of 100-year-old craftsman style homes, and was the former site of a large stream and salmon run historically used by local First Nations. Six artists presented visual and sound installations, which were positioned in the park to embrace the intimacy of “place” and to promote the relationship of humans, technology and the natural world.

Artists: Dave Leith, Sebnem Ozpeta, Merlyn Chipman, Laura Lee Coles, Miles Thorogood and Wynne Palmer. And others?
